Happy Birthday (Tailored Tag Punch / Little Ladybug / Peaceful Moments)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, recently I saw a very pretty card by the talented Julie Ebersole and was inspired to re-create it in my own way.  It is such a simple card and so easy to replicate.  All you need is a range of colours and a template.  For my card, I’ve used colours from the Brights family and the Tailored Tag Punch to create a template.  All you need to do is place your template over your panel and apply your preferred coloured ink with either a Sponge Dauber or Stamping Sponge.  I added a border with a Journaling Pen and a sentiment (one from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the other from the Little Ladybug stamp set).  The final touch was to add some sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins assortment.

Here’s the first Card…

Here’s the second Card…

Inside the card…

I like to create a panel to add inside my card.  I tend to keep it simple but try and tie it in with the outside of the card.  For the cards above, I have kept with the theme and added a border of colour.  It looks so good.

It’s such a simple card but it is so pretty.  While I have used the Tailored Tag Punch to create my template, you could really use any interesting punch shape to create a similar look.   I hope you will give it a go and if you do, I’d love to see what you create.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
