Hello My Friend

Hi Everyone,

Did you happen to grab the limited edition Hello stamp set while it was available during Sale-A-Bration? Unfortunately, this stamp set has now been retired. Don’t worry if you didn’t managed to snag it, you can easily re-create the cards I am sharing below (which are based on an idea found on page 18 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue) with any number of other stamps. These cards are super quick and easy. They don’t require a lot of time and effort, nor will you need many supplies – cardstock, stamps, washi tape and a couple of inks and you are ready to go.

The first card shows the card actually featured in the catalogue. Here’s the card…

Hello My Friend Materials used: Stamps - Hello (Stampin' Up!), Cardstock - Stampin' Up!l and Washi Tape - It's My Party Designer Washi Tape.

Materials used: Stamps – Hello (Stampin’ Up!), Cardstock – Stampin’ Up!l and Washi Tape – It’s My Party Designer Washi Tape.

Isn’t that cute? Using this design as my example, I very quickly created another three cards.

Here they are…

Now, don’t worry if you don’t have the same stamp set I have used, the design would work with any number of other stamp sets! Remember, all you need is a large sentiment, some washi tape and a few colours of ink and you are ready to go! Hope you’ll give it a try. If you do, please let me know as I would love to see what you’ve come up with!

Happy Stamping!

Great cards, Kylie!! I will definitely give this a shot! Rarely do I think to use kraft, but I love how these look. Simply amazing! Great way to incorporate Washi too. : )
