Hoping All Your Birthday Fishes Come True (Whale Done)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a quick and easy card but it really has a big impact! I think you are going to love it!  I used items from the Whale of a Time suite.  I love everything about this suite from the stamps to the punch (also available as a bundle for a 10% discount), to the embossing folder, embellishments, ribbons and papers. The papers in this suite are gorgeous!  For today’s card, I’ve used a few different papers – for the background, as well as accent strips and of course, I’ve fussy cut out the cute turtles too.

I added a little extra interest to the background paper by stamping some more fish in Pretty Peacock ink.  I stamped this off first as I wanted it to be a little softer.  I added a touch of Wink of Stella to the shells of the turtles, just to give them a little more interest.

Here’s the card

I’m sure you will agree with me the Whale of a Time papers are beautiful and I know you will enjoy creating many fabulous cards with this suite.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
