Hi, I have had the Lots of Happy Card Kit sitting on my desk for a while now. I had started it and completed one set of each of the cards but then I put it aside to work on other projects. Last night I decided it was time to finish the kit and I am so glad I did as it was fun and relaxing -and now I have a stash of cards at the ready.
There are two main reasons why I like card kits (there are many other reasons why kits are awesome but these are two of my favourite reasons). The first reason is that all the design work, cutting, and measuring is done. All you have to do is colour, stamp and assemble. The second reason is that it allows me to feel creative when I’m not feeling creative. Often, by the time I have finished with the kit, I start to feel creative again and off I go to make new projects. Oh, and I guess there is a third reason I like it and I touched on it above – more cards on hand for when I need them.
The Lots of Happy Card Kit comprises enough supplies to make 20 cards (4 each of 5 designs). All you need to add is adhesive. I ended up varying some of the designs by changing which sentiments I used. The kit comes with four watercolour pencils but I decided to use a few different colours of pencils from the Watercolour Pencils set. As for how I coloured the images – some I just coloured with the pencils. For others, I blended with the coloured images with water. For the majority of cards, I used the Blender Pens (love these, they are awesome!).
Here are the cards…
Seriously, guys, aren’t these gorgeous!! It is such a fabulous card kit! I love it. There is also a refill kit available so you can make as many cards as you like and you’ve always got the stamp set to use with other projects.
Don’t forget to take part in my Stamparatus Giveaway! The giveaway is open from March 1 to March 31, 2018. Every qualifying order puts you in the draw to win your very own Stamparatus!
