Happy Birthday (Flowering Foils SDSP / So Very Vellum / Well Said)

Hi everyone, with the end of Sale-A-Bration just around the corner, I wanted to continue to give love to my favourite Sale-A-Bration item – the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I’ve again teamed it with the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Soft Sea Foam has very quickly become a favourite colour of mine, and it is all thanks to this vellum paper. The floral image was coloured with Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink.  Doesn’t it look beautiful?

I finished off the card with the Word Wishes dies (also available as part of the A Wish For Everything bundle) and the Well Said stamp set.  The Copper Foil Sheets matches with this paper perfectly!

Happy Birthday (Flowering Foils SDSP / Peaceful Moments)

Hi everyone, sometimes I worry that you might get sick of seeing me use the same products over and over.  After all, Stampin’ Up! has an amazing range and I know we all want to see as much of it as possible  You might wonder why I do share some things a lot and the reasons are twofold.  Firstly, if I *love* a product I tend to use it over and over. I create a lot of different cards with it!  I want to share my creations with you and this leads to the second reason.  I want to inspire you to also use your products over and over.  I know I feel sad when I get to the end of a catalogue period and there is a cute product which I’ve used only once or twice.  I also want you to try different things with what you have – even if it is just switching up your colour combinations.

And isn’t that the perfect segue to talk about today’s card?  I’m back sharing another card which features the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. I really love this paper.  It’s too nice to leave sitting in the packet.  I want to use it and share it with others.

To colour the card I’ve used Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends to create a really rich look.  The colour combination was inspired by the card Marelle Taylor made for our recent Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop.

The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  I’ve stamped Happy Birthday in Versamark and then embossed it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  It is so pretty.

Hi everyone, the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper is one of my favourite items from Sale-A-Bration. I’ve made quite a few cards using just the large floral image sheet alone.  Today I am sharing another card which features this beautiful paper.  It also has a really cool technique using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.  It is so simple but it adds that extra little something to the background.  I’ve also made another video so you can see my process exactly.  Let’s go take a look…

I Can’t Thank You Enough (So Sentimental / Flowering Foils SDSP)

Hi everyone, the new Sale-A-Bration release went live yesterday.  One of my favourite items from this release is the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I have been loving creating with this gorgeous paper.  Today I am sharing a card which, I think, looks like it took me a while but really, it took no time at all.  All I did was take a piece of the Flowering Foils paper and colour the background.  I added a bit of extra flair with some vellum die-cut pieces and some ribbon.  And voila! The card was complete.

While I coloured my background with ink and an Aqua Painter, you could also use your Stampin’ Blends to add colour.  I think this is a style of card you could easily whip up a few for the stash.

Sadly the 2018 -2020 In Colours will be retiring when the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue finishes. If you are requiring any refills (in particular), or you would just like to stock up on cardstock, etc, now is the time to think about ordering them. Hi everyone, today I am sharing two cards which feature items coming in the new Sale-A-Bration release on 3 March 2020.  The gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper is gorgeous.  One of the page designs is so fun to cut up and colour.  I have been making quite a few cards with this paper.  The other product which is coming soon is the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.  It comes in a few different colours and it has a gorgeous texture.

I’ve been playing around with colouring the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper with different colours.  I decided to match the colours with the new vellum paper.  I could make this type of card all day.  They look so pretty.  I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Label Me Bold stamp set.

I think you are going to love both the Flowering Foils Speciality Designer Series Paper and the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.  They are both so gorgeous.  I wish I could show you the cards in real life.  They are so much prettier in person.

Thoughtful Blooms

I’m always amazed but never surprised by your thoughtfulness (Thoughtful Blooms)

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a super quick and easy card.  It took me only a few minutes to create but it looks really pretty and that it must have taken me a little longer than it actually did.  I’ve used the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set, and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch, both of which are items you can choose as your free gift during Sale-A-Bration.  The patterned paper, Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper, is from the new Coordination Product Release which went live on Tuesday (and lasts until 31 March 2020 or while stocks last).  The Small Bloom Punch also coordinates with the patterned paper so I was easily able to punch out a few flowers for my card design.  The gorgeous die-cut, as well as the beautiful background, were both created using dies from the Stitched Labels die set.  It is a FANTASTIC die set.  I use it a lot now.

Here’s the card…

 

You could easily replicate this design with other patterned papers and stamps.  You could also change up the background by using an embossing folder instead of a die.  I cannot wait to recreate this design!
