You Are Always in My Heart (Always In My Heart)

Hi everyone, I feel like it has been such a long time since my last post.  So much as happened!  We moved into our place but there is still SO much to do!  Due to my back injury, my poor partner is doing the lions share.  We are slowly setting up the craft room but I need his help to do anything with regards to the furniture which means I didn’t have a surface on which to craft.  That has now changed and hopefully, over the next week or so we will finish off the furniture and I can finally move into the room.  And hopefully find the things I want to use like vellum, decorative masks and embossing folders!

If I haven’t crafted for a while I tend to find the mojo goes missing!  Do you have this problem?  One of the ways I combat missing mojo is to CASE the Catalogue (Copy And Share Everything).  Seeing how the designers have used different products often kickstart my own creativity.

I decided to make a card which is featured on page 10 of the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue.  It features the lovely Always In My Heart Bundle (comprising the Always In My Heart stamp set and the coordinating Floral Heart Dies).  I really love the dies in this bundle.  Whilst I faithfully recreated the card, don’t you think it could be lovely in blues and silvers, or golds and pinks?

I did switch up colouring the background as I was dying to use the new Blending Brushes!  They are so lovely!  I think you are going to love them too.

My big tip for this project is to use the Adhesive Sheets, particularly for the smaller die cut flowers.  I tend to get liquid adhesive EVERYWHERE and I’m pretty heavy-handed (even when I think I am being super careful) so by adding the Adhesive Sheets before you die cut the images, they will be all ready to add straight onto your project!  So good!

This card was pretty easy to create and didn’t take much time at all.  I hope you’ll give it a go!
