A Little Something to Brighten Your Day (Rainbow of Happiness)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, today I am sharing a bright and happy card featuring the new Rainbow of Happiness Bundle and the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. It is actually a card you could make quite quickly too, if you needed a card in a hurry.

Start by creating a card base from Thick Basic White cardstock. Next, add a panel of pretty paper from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper pack. I then added a panel die cut from the Scalloped Contours die set – love that die set! For the rainbow, you might have guessed that I die cut four different colours of paper but it was so much easier than that! I added some Foam Adhesive Sheet to a piece of patterned paper, also from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper pack. This paper has a lot of rainbows on it and one die from the Brilliant Rainbow die set fits over it perfectly – so easy! I also die cut a few clouds from Basic White cardstock while doing my die cutting.

My tip for adhering the rainbow perfectly is to die cut the rainbow again from a scrap piece of paper and use it as a template. Just fit in the pieces and then remove the template when you have finished. It makes it so easy. Next, add the die-cut clouds.

Stamp the sentiment in Pool Party ink to coordinate with the background paper. The final touch is to add some Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewewls and you are done! So easy!

Here’s the card…

This was a really quick and easy card to make and would be perfect for so many occasion! All of the supplies used to create my card can be found in my online store here.
