Hi everyone, today’s card makes a marked departure from the floral images I’ve been using recently. It’s my Dad’s birthday so I wanted to make him a birthday card and thought the Geared Up Garage would be a fun set to use. I like this set because it also has sentiments which can be used for Father’s Day. The Geared Up Garage comes with a coordinating die set, some cute embellishments and Designer Series Paper. I didn’t use the die set (only because I forgot to order the set – yes, I also forgot to order it as a bundle for a 10% discount!) so I had a little bit of fussy cutting to do to cut out the car.
Here’s the card…
I loved using the oil spill stamp to create the background for the centre panel. For the inside, I also used this stamp to highlight my Sentiment (from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set). I think it would also look super fun to create an edge using this stamp in rainbow colours…

I think this is a fun set and cannot wait to use it again – whether it be for Father’s Day or for the other guys in my life. I think you’ll like it too.
