Hi everyone, today we are once again turning to the Sale-A-Bration catalogue for our card inspiration. I love all of the sample cards using the Friendly Hello bundle and I couldn’t help but CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the card you are about to see. I have switched up the colours a little but otherwise, it is a pretty faithful replication.
Start by creating your card base. In this case, I am using Thick Basic White cardstock. I then layered a piece of the gorgeous patterned paper from the Friendly Hello paper pack. Next, I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the bird and the flower with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also stamped the sentiment with Fresh Freesia ink. I cut a panel of Fresh Freesia cardstock which was slightly shorter, and slightly longer than my white panel. I then stamped the small flower image all over this panel with Fresh Freesia ink.
To colour the main focal panel I used Stampin’ Blends in the following colours – Pool Party, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake. If you like a little shimmer, you could also add Wink of Stella at this point as I did. You could use the texture dot stamp in the Friendly Hello stamp set to add more texture. Instead, I simply put the nib of my Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend in the corner of the lid and pulled very gently. This created a nice spatter pattern.
The next step is to assemble the card. First, attach the stamped Fresh Freesia panel. Next, add a length of the Silver Simply Elegant Thread and then pop up the final panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the Fresh Freesia jewels from the 2021-2023 In Colour Jewels pack to finish off the card.
