Celebrate the Best Day Ever (Band Together)

Hi everyone, today I am sharing a card using the Band Together stamp set.  This is a really easy card to pull together even if you aren’t a fan of colouring.  It is actually a card design I have done many times as it is so easy.  It’s one of my go-to designs when the mojo isn’t really flowing.  It is also fun to play around with different colour combinations.

All you need to do is repeatedly stamp the main floral image from Band Together and colour with your preferred colouring medium. In my case, I’ve used Stampin’ Blends (Light and Dark Purple Posy, Light Highland Heather, Light and Dark Granny Apple).  Stamp the sentiment; the Band Together set has lots of great ones to choose from.  I finished off the card with a coat of Wink of Stella on the petals and some Rhinestones around the sentiment.

It’s pretty, isn’t it?  I LOVE the combination of the Light and Dark Purple Posy with the Light Highland Heather.

I’ve made a few other cards based on this design in the past.  You can see them here and here.  I love returning to older designs to change them up a little and to try different colour combinations.  I think it is really important to use our stamps again and again…after all, isn’t that why we bought them? 🙂
