Create a beautiful thank you card inspired by the Catalogue (Daffodil Daydream)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, have you seen the super cute Daffodil Daydream bundle? I was flipping through the catalogue and realised I hadn’t used this bundle yet. I was so inspired by one of the samples that, you guessed it, I had to CASE it! CASE means Copy And Share Everything. Sometimes you might copy everything, and other times you might be only subtly inspired, and today mine falls closer to the copy everything part of the spectrum. There’s nothing wrong with CASE-ing but just remember to give credit to the original designer.

Back to the card, that pretty background paper is from the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper. This is a Level 1 Sale-A-Bration offering which could be yours for FREE (with a qualifying order). I love that the papers match perfectly with the Daffodil Daydream bundle. To add a little more interest to the paper, not that it really needed it, I sponged on some ink around the edges. I love how it looks.

The gorgeous ‘thanks’ is a die from the Amazing Thanks die set. I love that it has the shadow and the finer detail. Really makes it pop!

Here’s the card…

I really love the Daffodil Daydream bundle. The daffodils are beautiful. The stamps are fun to colour but would look just as good stamped in one colour or coloured direct to the stamp – have you seen this technique? The sentiments are so sweet – Happy Mother’s Day and Easter Blessings. The coordinating die set is fantastic because it not only cuts out the stamped images, there are other dies that help you to create die-cut daffodils. So cute!
