Hello Friend! (Oh Snap)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, another super cute stamp set from the upcoming January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue is the Oh Snap stamp set.  It features a rather large crocodile and I think it is going to be a great set for making cards for children and adults alike.  It has many versatile sentiments.  The crocodile itself can be coloured with any colouring medium you prefer, or you can paper piece it as I’ve done below.

Paper piecing is such a fun and easy technique.  All you need to do is pick a patterned paper you like and stamp the image directly on it. Fussy cut the image and you are done.  For the crocodile, I wanted him to have white teeth so I stamped the image again on white cardstock.  It really didn’t take too long to fussy cut around the teeth.

Here’s the card

Isn’t it the cutest?!  I think you are going to love it and I cannot wait to see how you use this image.

All of the new items featured above will be available from 5 January 2021.  If you cannot wait, Demonstrators can actually obtain these products now.  You can join here if this interests you.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie

Such a cute card. I’ve been looking at this stamp set but wasn’t sure I’d be keen on all of the fussy cutting. The ‘arrow’ pattern on the crocodile and lilly pad how have you made that? I can see DSP with this pattern or a stamp that would make it.

Hi Wendy, thank you! It’s actually not too fussy to cut it out. The teeth are pretty straight so you just snip in on an angle. I do all one way, and then go back and do the other way. The patterned paper is a new paper which is available to new Demonstrators who sign up during Sale-A-Bration. It’s really pretty, isn’t it?!
