Here for You (So Much Love / Pattern Play)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, today I’m featuring another card made with the So Much Love stamp set.  I’m loving this stamp set so you’ll be seeing lots of cards with this set over the next few weeks and months!  It’s beautiful!  The card I am sharing today is actually based on a card I made about four years ago.  I think it was CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from the catalogue back then.

I stamped the larger floral image from So Much Love onto a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I scribbled the Stampin’ Write Markers in Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride onto an acrylic block and then used Water Painters to colour the image.  This cardstock isn’t designed to be used with water so don’t apply too much.  You’ll find the ink will instantly soak into the cardstock also making it hard to blend.   To add the splatters, add water to some Crumb Cake ink (I pressed the Crumb Cake ink pad onto an acrylic block) and then flick this over your image.

To help make the image pop off the page, I outlined parts of the image with my Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The card was finished off with some Pearls and Wink of Stella.  I also added a pop of colour, in the form of Blushing Bride hearts from the Pattern Play stamp set, to the sentiment.

Here’s the card

This card would be fun to replicate in lots of different colours.  You could also use your Stampin’ Blends or Pencils to colour the image if you were reluctant to paint with water.

Don’t forget, this set is one you get for free during September 2020 if you sign up during the Get & Go Starter Kit Promotion.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
