I’m Here for You Always (Seascape / Sea Life) – CASE the Catalogue

by Kylie

Hi everyone, today I am sharing another card featuring the fabulous Seascape bundle. I’m loving this bundle and the samples in the catalogue are so fabulous! This time we are CASE-ing (Copy And Share Everything) a card from page 12 of the Annual Catalogue. It is such a lovely card and really makes the fish die the standout feature.

The card is really easy to make. Grab some Pool Party cardstock and create your card base. Take a panel of Basic White cardstock and run it through your die-cutting machine with the Fish die from the Sea Life die set. You can see it doesn’t completely cut out the shape and for this card that is perfect! Gently lift the tail of the fish and stamp the seaweed stamp from the Seascape stamp set in Granny Apple Green. This gives the appearance of the fish being in front of the seaweed.

Layer a panel of Daffodil Delight behind the fish. (The catalogue sample actually uses Mango Melody so you might prefer this colour). I then added some Wink of Stella to the fish to make it shimmer. So pretty.

With the Pool Party ink, stamp the bubble stamp near the fish, as well as around the edge of the card base. Also, go ahead and stamp, with Crumb Cake ink, a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock with the sand stamp. Tear this strip for some extra interest. With Early Espresso ink, stamp the sentiment on a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock.

All that is left then is to assemble the card. I popped up the fish panel and the sentiment strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Here’s the card…

This card was so simple to make and is rather lovely. The big takeaway from this card is to think about where you will stamp the seaweed. Don’t stamp it too far up the page. You need the sand strip to cover it, but not cover the fin of the fish. I hope you’ll give this card a go.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
