Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop – September 2020

Hi everyone and welcome to the last Kylie’s Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Training Monthly Team Blog Hop day for the current Stampin’ Up! year.  Wow!  I cannot believe this year’s training is almost at an end.  Thank you for hopping with us.

I really love it when you find a stamp set which can be used in ways which are different from the original design.  Today’s card features a stamp from the Love of Leaves stamp set.  This set is filled with leaf stamps but one of them reminded me so much of a heart and I thought it would look so good hanging from a branch or line.  I added the stripes stamp from the Pattern Play stamp set to an acrylic block but I manipulated it so it was curved.  I inked up one line only and then stamped this down.  My hearts were going to hang on this line.  I stamped the leaf stamp in Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather inks along the line at different lengths.  I didn’t worry too much if they were crooked but if this worries you, you could use a Stamparatus to ensure they are all perfectly lined up.
The LOVE was created by adding Foam Adhesive Sheets to a strip of Melon Mambo cardstock.  I then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  The final touch was some Wink of Stella on the hearts (be careful as this will make the ink move) and some Rhinestones.
