Make a sweet flower card using die cuts (Quiet Meadow)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, the beautiful Quiet Meadow bundle (on sale this for the month of March 2022! yay!) is gorgeous and can be used in so many different ways. Today, I thought I would share a card where the Meadow dies of this bundle took centre stage.

This is actually a really simple card to make. I started by choosing my colour combination – Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya. I created the card base from Soft Succulent cardstock and then stamped the text stamp from the Quiet Meadow stamp set repeatedly over the background. I did stamp off before stamping so that the ink wasn’t as bold. Next I layered a piece of patterned paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack on top. I tore the top and bottom of this paper to give a little more interest.

Next I die cut the shapes I wanted from Basic White cardstock and coloured them with Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends. I also die cut the butterflies but didn’t colour them as I wanted a little more white to tie in with the sentiment strip.

I layered it all together, popping up the butterflies with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some Pearls to complete the card. Okay, it wasn’t complete until I had added Wink of Stella to the flowers and the butterflies. Now it is complete!

Here’s the card…

This was a fun card to make and I love that you can mix and match the die cuts, change the colours and sentiment and create a completely different card. So versatile!

I hope you’ll give it a go. It was so fun! I’d love to see what you come up with. All the supplies you need can be found in my online store here.
