It’s a cold, rainy and overall miserable Melbourne day. Winter has well and truly set in. It’s perfect stamping weather! I was reading the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge blog yesterday and decided I might like to play along again. This week is their Designer Drafts challenge. They upload a sketch for you to be inspired by – you can follow it closely or just take inspiration from it.
I knew I wanted to play with the Cuteasaurus stamp set again and thought this might be the perfect opportunity to do so. They are encouraging people to use a clean and simple style – I think this is as simple as I get. lol Having made the card I think it is a little too similar to one of my other cards and doesn’t pack the same punch. I think I might try another design. I love challenges like this as it really does kick start the creative juices. So here’s my card:

Materials used: Stamps – Cuteasaurus, Sentiment Sampler, Spring Groves (Paper Smooches); Cardstock – American Crafts, Knights; Distress Ink, Distress Markers and Embossing Folder (Provo Craft).

Doing a little comment catch up…I was thrilled to see that you popped this in PSS! In my world, this one’s the winner!! Very, cute(asaurus) card (sorry.. ). Great coloring, and the bits of pink are wonderful here. Love this!
