Have you all seen the “Beat the Heat” Challenge on the Penny Black blog? I can’t believe I missed it! Still, better late than never!
Penny Black “Beat the Heat” Challenge
I really wanted to play with this Penny Black stamp again. It’s just so cute. I’m still not quite there in terms of the design in my head and getting it onto paper but I am getting closer. I’m thinking a touch of glitter on the petals might be a nice touch too…maybe on the next card.

Materials used: Stamps – Asking the Flowers 2296K, Salutations 30-014 (Penny Black); Cardstock – Knight; Distress Markers; Designer Paper – Sweet Threads 6×6 Paper Pad, Knee Highs 6×6 Paper Pad (Basic Grey); and Embroidery Floss.

Such a cutie! Love the little hedgehog and his pinkish cheeks. Once again, I am blown away by your coloring. I zeroed in on your daisies, and love how you’ve colored the ends pink. This is just darling. Love the dp and twine accent too. Have a good evening and keep warm. Later!

Oh yeah, that is true, you don’t always have to colour the entire thing – sometimes just a hint of colour is all you need. Hope all is well with you!
