Your card caught my eye on the SPARKS challenge page, and I just had to take a closer look. I really love the layering and the overall colors. And you nailed the fishbowl – both in its proportion and its color/shape.
For some reason, I can’t help but think those fish are having a staff meeting of some sort. It definitely made me laugh. 🙂
Hi Elle,
Thank you! Such a sweet compliment! I think you might be right – they are having some sort of fishy get-together! 🙂 Hope you have a good day! Thank you for stopping by and for writing such a lovely comment too.
That is just TOO, TOO cute!
Thanks so much, Valerie! 🙂
Back again to cheer wildly and loudly at your darling your fishy fish bowl card! The two on the left look like their listening, with rapt attention, to the little whale-y guy on the right. Chatting around the ‘water cooler’ comes to mind! The seaweed, the bubbles, the colours: perfect take on the sketch and a perfect combination of images.I wish sketches would play out in my mind even half as well as they do in yours. I’m still staring at it, clueless! Perhaps it’s due to the ‘must make Valentine cards’ diet I’m on, as well as making them in mini size. Hmmm…I feel a ping of an idea sparking, so we’ll see if it translates into something productive! We’ve entered a short spate of cooler weather, but nothing compared to what’s messing up the Eastern provinces and states. I couldn’t believe snow in Georgia! Poor people, complete unaccustomed to icy roads and cold weather, being lashed with the unfamiliar! Yikes! I’m ready for spring though, as I’m sure you’re ready for a taste of cooler weather! Your visit to my blog has added extra sparkle to my Friday evening! Oh, to live closer…the fun we would have, and the shenanigans! You’re awesome, sweet Kylie, fabulously awesome! Hugs~c
Ooh Carol, you are the sweetest! I hadn’t thought of that but you are right, it is reminiscent of chatting around the water cooler. lol Oh how yay that you have a ping!! Go create while you can. 🙂 I will eagerly await seeing what results…but no pressure! lol Relax and enjoy the process. 🙂 I cannot believe how extreme the weather is around the world. Here we are experiencing fire and heat waves and other parts of the world have extremely low temperatures with snow, ice and more. It is ridiculous! Enjoy creating whether it be more of your darling mini Valentine’s or the sketch ping idea! 🙂 big hugs!
Such a clever idea to create a fish bowl – this is awesome!! Thanks so much for playing along with the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge!!
Thanks so much, Taheerah! Appreciate you kind words. 🙂 Was fun to play along. 🙂
This. Is. Brilliant!!! Your card jumped out at me while checking out the entries. They would be crazy if they didn’t pick your card as the winner! Fabulous card!
