Hi Everyone,
When I heard of the launch of the new My Favourite Things Card Challenges blog, I knew I wanted to play along with some of their challenges this year. As soon as I saw the Sketch Challenge, I knew exactly what I wanted to do and that was to grab the Birdie Brown You’re Super stamp set and create a little scene.
Here’s the card I am entering into the Sketch Challenge…

You’re Awesome
Materials used: Stamps – Birdie Brown You’re Awesome (My Favourite Things); Dies – Die-Namics Blueprints 5 (My Favourite Things); Designer Paper – Party with Amy Locurto “Boy” (Pebbles Inc.); Distress Inks and Copic Markers.
I did make another card before this one but I felt it fell a little flat in a few areas. I’m going to share it though because it shows a few different ideas. I do plan to play around with this idea a little more over time.
Here’s the card…

Have a Super Day

Happy Stamping!

You have totally rocked this challenge! I love your interpretation of the sketch, and that paper in the tip card is fabulous! Fits just perfectly with the card.
I like the second card, too, although I can totally see why you picked the first. It just pops!
Thanks, Elle! I’ve had that paper for a while and when MFT released the BB You’re Super set I *may* have squealed with delight knowing it would suit it perfectly. lol Such a dag!
*Fist pumpm* YES!! You’re playing in a challenge where oodles of people can ooh and ahh over your incredible talent! I’m so stoked to see you doing this! Cheering and applauding! As for your card: AWESOME! I think both are fabulous, my friend! I see why the first appealed to you: it’s a bit more vivid, and the background paper really makes your scene pop! Fabulous!!
