Thank you from the bottom of my heart (Bella & Friends)

Thank You

Hi, when I shared an earlier Bella card I mentioned that while I had coloured the dog brown in my card you could easily make the dog look like many different breeds.  I was excited to make a border collie card inspired by my dog Zac.  I’m also still embracing the white space!  This card is so quick and easy to make.  You only need a few supplies – stamp and ink, a colouring medium and cardstock.  Let’s take a look.

Here’s the card…

Thank You

Isn’t it super cute?  Maybe you, or your recipient, has a black and white border collie.  That’s easy to do too.  You could make the dog a darker colour by adding more of the Dark Smoky Slate but I was pretty happy with this dark grey so that I could still see all the outlines of the stamped image.

Thank You

I thought you’d like to meet the little guy who inspired the brown and white version.  This is Zac.  It would have been his 13th birthday on the 1st of March but I lost him a couple of weeks ago.  After enjoying good health his entire life, aside from a touch of arthritis over the last year, he suddenly became very unwell.  I miss him terribly.  He was my best friend.  He had such character and was a little smarty pants.  Everyone should be blessed with someone just like my Zac.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie

Am so sorry about your dog crossing the rainbow bridge…my foster dog went across 3 weeks ago. Your Zac sure was beautiful. Your cards with dogs are so cute. I’ve the stamp too so will need to get it out and play with the coloring. tfs I do understand.

Oh Jeanne, I am so sorry for your loss too. It is heart-breaking, isn’t it! I really appreciate your kind words. They mean a lot. 🙂 I hope you do have a play with the stamp set. It is fun to create some individual/personalised dogs for our recipients. Best wishes to you!
