Happy October 2021! Over the past couple of months, there has been so much happening with Stampin’ Up!® especially with Sale-A-Bration. How fantastic was it to be able to choose additional products for free with our orders?! I love it! I know it is a shame they aren’t part of the regular range. Having said that, there are still heaps of current products which I am looking forward to creating with again. While October may be a little quieter than previous months, there are a few fun things on the horizon. I’ll share as soon as I can.
I know many of you are starting to work on Christmas cards and gifts. Given the state of the world, I strongly recommend that you look at purchasing your supplies and gifts earlier than you might have in the past. While Stampin’ Up!® is doing its best to try and keep products in stock, there are some which have moved onto backorder and therefore they’ll take a little longer to get to us. Please try and keep this in mind and allow a little extra time where you can.
I’ve also found that some of the cards I am sending are taking WAY longer than to arrive than ever before. In fact, I’ve now had a couple of cards take two months to arrive in Victoria (from WA). If you have placed an order with me, please know I have sent your ‘thank you’ card and gift but that they may be caught up in the mail. Please do let me know if yours seems like it is lost in the mail so I can arrange a new one to be sent. I value each and every order (yes, I still do a happy dance when they come in) so I really do want to be able to pass on my thanks!
World Cardmaking Day is almost upon us. There is a new Host Code for October. Of course, we also have a new Creative Prompt as well. I’m a big fan of this prompt and I hope you’ll enjoy it too. Okay, let’s get into it….
World Cardmaking Day – October 2
World Cardmaking Day is this Saturday 2 October. I love that we have a day where we can celebrate all that is cardmaking – the joy of the hobby, the friendships made, the cards we send to brighten another’s day. In the spirit of this day, I’d love to encourage you to make a card, send a card! While I am not having a formal function this year, I will be spending some time crafting and I can’t think of a better way to spend the day.

It’s time for a new Creative Prompt for October. I had a lot of fun with this one and I hope you will too. I’ve created a thread on my Stampers Workshop Facebook page (pinned to the top of the page) and I’d like to invite anyone who wants to share their take on the challenge to do so in the comments section of that post. You don’t need your own blog, just upload a photograph of your card directly into the comments. Please upload photographs only. Do not link to other blogs or websites.
