All the news from OnStage@Home November 2020

by Kylie

Hi everyone, on November 5 -9, I took part in the Stampin’ Up! OnStage@Home event.  It’s always a fun experience and this year, despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic, was no exception.

What is OnStage@Home?

OnStage happens twice a year in April and November and it coincides with the release of the Annual Catalogue (April OnStage) and the January to June Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Catalogue (November OnStage).  They occur in different locations across the globe and are fabulous!  At these events, demonstrators come together to meet, share ideas, cards, business hints and tips (for those business minded) and we also receive the upcoming catalogue before everyone else.  We are also spoilt with gifts.  Unfortunately, due to Covid, OnStage had to look at little different this year and OnStage@Home was born.  Whilst it was disappointing to miss gathering in person, Stampin’ Up! did their best to ensure an amazing event was held!

The Swag Box

Attendee’s had the opportunity to purchase a Swag Box when we registered for OnStage@Home.  Given the Swag is usually pretty fun, I didn’t hesitate to add it to my registration.  When the box arrived in the mail, it felt like Christmas.  It contained lots of great goodies.  We received a fantastic bag, some trading pens, notebooks, a pen, stickers and even a new stamp set called Enjoy the Moment.  If you would like a closer look at the goodies, I did a Facebook Live unboxing which you can see here.

The Kick Off…

The first night (Thursday night) of OnStage@Home was kicked off by none other than PAT BENATAR!!  WOOOHOOO!  Pat and her husband Neil Giraldo performed a number of Pat’s hits from days gone by and it was sensational!  I confess I turned up the volume and sang along loudly (and badly).   After this amazing experience, we moved on to the Recognition part of the event where Demonstrators around the world were recognised for their achievements over the past 12 months.  It was exciting to see how far some had come and to see the names of people I knew.

Friday…

We had a full agenda on Friday, starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm.  The day consisted of completing stamping projects with a new suite called Dandy Garden.  I’ll be sharing the cards we made soon.  We also had presentations by different Stampin’ Up! staff and ended the day with a business presentation by Brenda Ster.  It was a fabulous and informative day!

Saturday…

Saturday was also packed full of interesting and inspiring sessions.  We saw wonderful stamping sessions showcasing new products (and oh wow, there are some amazing products coming soon) interspersed with informative breakout sessions focussing on business building.

All too soon OnStage@Home was over.  Even though we weren’t able to get together in person, I can honestly say it was still an amazing experience!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
