Sweet Little Something (Occasions)

by Kylie

Hi, have you seen the new Sweet Little Something stamp set in the Occasions catalogue?  It is so dang cute! It would be great to make a new baby welcome card or even an Easter card.  The bunny looks so realistic. I started creating with it yesterday (you might have seen the sample I shared on Facebook) and ended up exploring different colour combinations which I thought you’d like to see.

Before I share the colour combinations, I wanted to point out that usually, with two (or three) step stamping, we start with the base and then build upon it with the more detailed images.  With this particular stamp set, Stampin’ Up! recommends you start with the detailed image and work down to the base.

I also recommend you line the images up by the feet, arms and the left side of the bunnies head.  Don’t forget the head!

Okay, let’s look at the colour combinations.  The following are just a few of the examples I’ve come up with.  And you might notice, that for a few of them I have only used two stamps, not the final base stamp.  I think they all look amazing! Such a sweet image!

Here’s the first set of colour combinations…

I love all the combinations you can come up with – and this is just the tip of the iceberg.  I even like the green bunny but he does look like he’s radioactive. haha  Still so cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
