Hi everyone, over the past week or so I’ve been sharing cards featuring the gorgeous critters from the From All of Us stamp set.  Today’s card is CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.  I loved everything about this card and so I haven’t changed anything from the original design.

I coloured the image with my Stampin’ Blends but, of course, you could use your preferred colouring medium.

Isn’t it the cutest?!  I love the little banner sentiment.  The other interesting thing about this card is that the sentiment is stamped on the Designer Series Paper. I seldom remember to do this but it looks so good, doesn’t it?!

Happy Birthday (From All of Us)

Hi everyone, the super cute critters from the From All of Us stamp set are making another appearance today.  They are so adorable.  I am so enjoying colouring the image with my Stampin’ Blends but, of course, you could use your preferred colouring medium.  If you are unsure what colours to use I recently shared my colour combos on the Stampers Workshop Facebook page.

What’s different about today’s card is that I created more of a scene rather than just having them on their own.  The stamp set comes with two trees, or they could be used just as branches, and I thought it would be fun to have these showing in the background.  You will need to do some masking to achieve this look.  Stamp the critters first and then on a post-it note (I like the ones which have adhesive all over the background rather than just the top).  Cut out the post-it note.  My tip for this is to cut towards the inside edge of the stamped line so that you don’t end up with a halo effect (and if you take a look near the face of the ostrich you can see what I mean). If you do end up with a halo you can, of course, just leave it or you can use your Stampin’ Write Markers to fill in the gaps. Position the post-it note over your original stamped image and then you are ready for the next step.  Stamp the trees in place.  Remove the post-it notes and voila there’s your scene!  Looks great, doesn’t it?!

I also used Versamark to stamp the trees repeatedly over my card base.  I love this subtle look.

Hi everyone, today I am sharing another card featuring the super cute critters from the From All of Us stamp set.  It’s definitely a favourite set of mine.  I love to colour the cute image with my Stampin’ Blends but, of course, you could use your preferred colouring medium.  You don’t need to do much to this card as the critters really pull the focus.

Oh, and how gorgeous is the patterned paper?!  It’s from the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper pack.  When I first saw this paper in the catalogue I thought it was gorgeous but way too bold for me.  As you can see though, some of the paper is a little more subtle and perfect for these kinds of cards.

You might have noticed that I used small hearts to finish off my card instead of the usual bling.  They are fiddly to cut out but I love the look and thought it was a great way to add a little extra pop of colour.

Happy Birthday (From All of Us)

Hi everyone, today I am sharing a card featuring the CUTEST of images.  This stamp was one of the first stamps to make it on to my “must-have” list when I first viewed the new catalogue.  I’m actually surprised it has taken me this long to get it inky.  This group of cute critters from the From All of Us stamp set, as well as being cute, is also super fun to colour.

I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the image but you could use your preferred colouring method.  As I really wanted this image to be the focal point, I kept the rest of the card very simple.  I love the woodgrain pattern in the new Neutrals 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper.  It was an easy way to add the appearance of texture.

Happy Birthday (Tailored Tag Punch / From All of Us / Peaceful Moments) – VIDEO

Hi everyone, this week on the Demonstrator Planning Page (which is a Demonstrator only Facebook page), the Home Office shared a really cool idea and I HAD to try it and share it with you all.  It’s so good and you’ll also get more use out of your Tailored Tag punch (which is pretty awesome just as it is).  Scroll down for the dimensions and a how-to video.

Isn’t this an awesome technique?  You can actually create three cards from each strip (but I messed up one of mine.  Oops!)  You could use any pretty patterned paper to create this technique.  You could also use the hexagons to cover the entire background of the card.  Another cool idea would be to create a flower with the hexagons.  You could also do what I did and add texture to the background card by using different embossing folders.

I cannot wait to see what you all come up with using this fun technique!
