Hi, by now you’ve noticed the Retired List features all of the current ink pads in the range and you might be wondering what is happening. Actually, there are a couple of things of which to be aware. Firstly, the ink pads themselves have been redesigned and all of the current design will be replaced in the new catalogue. Secondly, every so often, Stampin’ Up! goes through the range and tweaks the colours available. Sometimes past In Colours are reintroduced or brand new colours are introduced into the range. Today, let’s focus on those colours which will be leaving the collection as at the 31st May, 2018.
The Retiring Colours are…
On 31 May 2018, thirteen colours are retiring. They are:

The retiring 2016-2018 In Colors are:

Flirty Flamingo*
Peekaboo Peach
Sweet Sugar Plum
*Please note that while Flirty Flamingo is retiring as an In Colour, it will continue to be available as part of the core colour collection.
Stampin’ Up! has worked with their vendors to ensure there is a period of guaranteed stock before the retirement date. This means that even if an ink pad/refill goes on back order during the guaranteed time, those orders will be fulfilled.
However, after the guaranteed date has passed, those products in retiring colours are available only while supplies last. Please see the chart below that details this. It also shows how other products with retiring colours will be handled.

What does all this mean? Well, if you are a fan of a particular colour, now is the time to stock up on it because once it is gone, it is gone. Additionally, if you do have an ink pad, please consider getting the re-inkers as soon as possible. Re-inkers are always the first to sell it.
