I’m Just So Happy For You (Good Feelings) – CASE the Catalogue

by Kylie

Hi everyone, the card samples in all of the Stampin’ Up!® catalogues provide a source of inspiration. If you don’t know where to start, or the mojo goes missing, these projects are a great starting point. You could use the ideas for colour combinations, or a card design, or you might CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the entire card. Today, I am CASE-ing the card from page 18 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue featuring the Good Feelings stamp set, the Fabulous Frames die set and the Flowers & Leaves Punch.

I started by creating a card base from Pool Party cardstock. I also cut another slightly smaller panel of Pool Party cardstock to fit the front of the card. Next, I inked up the Hip Hip and Hooray stamps with Pool Party ink from the Good Feelings stamp set. I stamped it off once before stamping onto this panel. Now, if you mess up, don’t worry, flip the cardstock over and start again. I forgot to stamp off once so that’s what I did. You’ll also notice that on the bottom right-hand corner, I forgot to stamp off again. I wasn’t going to waste this cardstock so decided to live with it. This panel was then adhered directly to the card base.

For the sentiment, I inked up the ‘I’m just so happy for you’ stamp set from the Good Feelings stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped it on some Basic White cardstock and then die cut it using a die from the Fabulous Frames die set. I adhered the outer frame part directly onto my card. For the part with the sentiment, I added some Stampin’ Dimensionals and put it aside.

With the Flowers & Leaves Punch, I punched out multiple pieces of paper from the Brights 6×6 Designer Series Paper pack. I chose the colours Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo. Some pieces were adhered directly to the card base. The sentiment panel before was then adhered to the card before adding some more of the punched-out pieces. The final touch was to add some rhinestones.

Here’s the card…

This was actually a quick and easy card to make. While it has a few steps, it really is quite simple. I think it would be fun to try it in different colour combinations, don’t you?
