Hi everyone, the Jar of Flowers stamp set is gorgeous! It has so many different ways you can use it, especially when paired with the coordinating punch (available as a bundle for a 10% discount). I decided to use one of the flower bunches from this set a little differently. I thought it would look really pretty as bouquet background with a sentiment popping out of the top. It was so fun to colour the images and it really didn’t take too long to fussy cut the images out.
Here’s my card…
There’s a couple of ways you can create the multicoloured sentiment. One way is to use the Stamparatus to stamp each colour in turn. The other way to do it, and the way I did it, was to add colour with a Sponge Dauber. I started with a layer of Mango Melody, next up was Pumpkin Pie and finally, I added Poppy Parade. I “pounced” the sponge dauber so that there wasn’t a harsh line between each colour. Oh, you could still do this using your Stamparatus. Then you could clean the stamp and re-ink with versamark so you can emboss it with clear embossing powder. LOVE that effect! I didn’t do it for this card but it does look super pretty!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
