OnStage Local

OnStage

Hi, yesterday I referred to making a lot of swaps for the upcoming OnStage Event by Stampin’ Up!  I thought I’d share a little bit about what OnStage is as well as the cards I’ve made to swap at this event.

OnStage Live is held every April and November. It is a global event and coincides with the launch of the Annual (April OnStage) and Occasions (November OnStage) catalogues.

There are three kinds of OnStage – OnStage Live, OnStage Local and OnStage Online.

OnStage Live

OnStage Live is two-and-a-half days of exciting Stampin’ Up! activities. Attendees will be the first to get their hands on the new catalogue, see, touch, and make projects with new products, hear company announcements from the corporate team before anyone else, and get a chance to network with other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. You’ll even be able to participate in a Product Purchase Premiere–which means that you can order from a selection of new products before anyone else!

OnStage Local

At OnStage Local you’ll watch recorded content from the OnStage Live event, see and create projects with new products, be first to hear company announcements, receive valuable training tips, and participate in the Product Purchase Premiere. Stampin’ Up! staff will attend each OnStage Local event, including members of the corporate team and Demonstrator Training.

OnStage Online

If you aren’t able to attend the Live or Local events, you don’t miss out. Stampin’ Up! records the sessions and makes them available to Demonstrators on the Demonstrator website.

So, now you can see why we Demonstrators are so excited about this event.  It is also a great opportunity to meet new people – and share ideas!

Swap Cards

One of the ways to share ideas is by swapping cards (card fronts or 3D projects) we have created.  It isn’t a mandatory activity but it is one which generates a lot of fun.

I’ve made two types of cards for the swaps – 50 notecards and 12 card fronts.  They might look a little familiar to regular readers of my blog. I’ve just changed them up a little bit for this swap.

Since I was in a colouring mood I started to work on another swap card using my favourite floral stamp.

For You

And here are the 12 cards waiting to be swapped on the day…

For You

This will be the first OnStage Local event I’ve been able to attend since I became a Demonstrator and I am very excited to attend. My team leader, Melissa, is flying over from Perth to attend and it will be the first time we will meet in person despite having been friends for nearly 17 years! I’m really looking forward to being able to share some of this event with you so watch this space – and over at Facebook too.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

You know how much I love these cards, sweet Kylie! Those mermaids… this is such a brilliant idea! I’ll bet everyone at your OSL will be CASEing these clever cards, and they’ll most definitely be CASEing your beautiful flower cards, too. I know who will be the star of the show…uh-huh. That would be you! : )

Oh, I missed your lovely comment, my friend! Thank you so much! I wasn’t the star but I did receive some lovely feedback from other Demonstrators. 🙂
