Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #35: Colour Challenge

by Kylie
Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop

Hi, welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our September 2021 Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. We were challenged to create a card using Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, and Pear Pizzazz. We could also use a Basic Black, Basic White and/or Very Vanilla.

Here’s the Challenge…

Colour challenges are so fun but can be so challenging too. This one was fun! I love how the colours work together and thought it could be interesting to create a somewhat different looking floral card. The Pierced Bloom die set is fabulous and I love the stitched lines on all of the pieces – so fun! The sentiment comes from the coordinating In Bloom stamp set which is so lovely too.

Here’s the card…

As I was layering a lot of cardstock on cardstock, I used the Blending Brushes to add a little ink to the edges of each of the die-cut pieces. This helped to add more depth and interest. I also added Wink of Stella to the flowers so that they have a really pretty shimmer in real life.

Let’s continue on the hop…

You might have come here from Meighan Wheller’s blog.  Next up,  please hop along to Melissa Gifford’s blog. Here’s a list of all the participants:
