Thank You for being You (Many Messages / True Love DSP) and a quick and easy tip for spattering on your cards

by Kylie

Hi everyone, one of my favourite products in the current January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue is the True Love Designer Series Paper. Have you seen it? It’s on page 11 of the catalogue. What I love about it is that as well as having gorgeous floral designs, it also has versatile graphic designs. These papers can be used for so many different occasions!

Today’s card is made using two of the different designs of paper from the True Love Designer Series Paper. I’ve used one of the striped designs for the background. On a piece of floral paper, I’ve coloured in the floral image with the Stampin’ Blends (Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo). I’ve then fussy cut this image out and popped it up on my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card is finished off with a sentiment from the Many Messages bundle. It’s so easy.

I have a couple of tips for creating this card. Firstly, I used the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to colour in the Pearls so they matched my card perfectly. Secondly, I used the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends to create the spattered look on the Basic White cardstock. As I often get asked about this technique, I did a short Facebook Live yesterday to show how it is done and I’ve uploaded it below.

Here’s a quick and easy tip to create a fun spattered look…

The True Love Designer Series Paper is one of my favourite patterned paper packs in the Stampin’ Up!® range at the moment. I think it can be used in so many different ways, and to create so many different looks. I cannot wait to share more cards using this fabulous paper!
