’tis the season (Snowman Season / Itty Bitty Greetings)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, if you are wanting a really simple card to make for Christmas this year, then this may be of interest to you.  It’s super cute and even though there are a few steps it really didn’t take long at all to make.  I used items from the Let It Snow Suite.  The paper is GORGEOUS and the Snowman Season snowmen are so cute.  The snowman I used for this card didn’t really need much in the way of colouring.  I used the Pool Party Stampin’ Blends for the highlight on the snow and the Real Red Stampin’ Blends to colour the beanie and scarf.  The carrot nose was coloured with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.  I also used some Wink of Stella over the coloured areas, and the snowy ground, just to give it a little extra something.

Have you seen the new Snowfall Accents Puff Paint?  This product is AWESOME!  All you do is dab a little of the liquid (it’s quite runny, so be careful when applying it) on your card.  You then use your Heat Tool and the heat will make the liquid puff up.  Don’t overheat it as you don’t want it to burn.  My other BIG TIP for using this product is to do any die-cutting before you apply it.  The die-cutting process will flatten your puffy paint.   Ask me how I know this?! lol

Here’s the Card…

It’s a simple card but I think the addition of the embossing, Wink of Stella and the Puff Paint really adds a bit of fun and texture.   The sentiment for this card comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  I love this set – it has sentiments for every occasion.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
