Welcome to August 2023 – Big News!

by Kylie

Hi, Happy August! Wow! August! Can you believe it? I feel like I say this all the time but..isn’t this year just flying by?! I have big news this month. I am no longer an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up!®. This is very sad but I feel it is the right decision for me at this time. That’s not to say I cannot rejoin at some stage but for now, it is time to go solo. I am going to miss the community the most. I made some lovely friends because of Stampin’ Up!®. I’m going to miss being part of some of the Demo-only Facebook groups. It was always so fun to jump online and see all of the fabulous creations. Not to mention all the sneak peeks, and the discounts…oh the discounts, I will miss them a lot too!

Thank you!

I would like to thank each of you who supported Stampers Workshop over the years. It might sound silly but I really get so excited by every like, comment, message, card and of course, order. The fact you chose me to spend your hard-earned money with was so very much appreciated.

Where to from here?

I’m not 100% sure the direction I will take Stampers Workshop from here. You might start seeing some older Stampin’ Up!® products make their return. While I was always (and still am) so excited by new products, I really hated when some of the fabulous products retired. I wanted to keep using them. Now, that I’m not longer a demonstrator, I can use them again and I hope to inspire you to get some of these older products out again too. Even if you no longer have them, that’s okay, I’m sure you can adapt any ideas and use them with products you do have. I might even start sharing ideas using products from different companies. I’m not sure. Watch this space!

Where to shop?

If you are wondering where to go to get your Stampin’ Up!®products now, I am happy to share with you two of my dear friends who are both wonderful stampers and cardmakers – Melissa and Jill. I know both ladies would be happy to help you with your crafting needs. Their details are below.

Melissa was my upline and is the most amazing, supportive cheerleader out there. She runs in-person classes in her gorgeous studio in Willetton, WA but you can also purchase supplies online through her online store.

I know I have a lot of readers who are in the US who could never purchase from me so I wanted to introduce you to my friend, Jill. Jill also runs in-person classes, as well as classes by mail. Of course, she too has an online store from which you can order.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie

Kylie, I’m glad to hear you will continue to craft and show your beautiful cards. Stepping back is not a bad thing, just another step on your journey of life. I am not a demo and therefore I keep most products I buy. I will look forward to seeing what you make with retired products and/or other companies items. Best of luck to you in this next chapter. Enjoy your day!

You’ve always been so sweet, Hilda, with your kind words! Thank you so much! I think it was the right time. Hard decision to make but I do feel peace with it so I guess that shows it is the right one. I am hanging out to craft! I haven’t done anything in ages! Thank you again! You never cease to brighten my day! Have a wonderful day!
