You are my missing piece (Love You To Pieces)

by Kylie

Happy Valentine’s Day!  I don’t usually make cards for Valentine’s Day as it always seems so commercial.  My partner isn’t really into it either.  He never hesitates to tell me he loves me – no matter the day!  This year, however, I just felt like I wanted to play along as, well….really isn’t love what it is all about?

I love the Love You To Pieces stamp set and the coordinating Puzzle Pieces Thinlits die (also available for sale in a bundle for a 10% discount).  In fact, it was the die set which first grabbed my attention.  As the die cuts out each of the puzzle pieces I thought it could be so fun to use on any type of card, especially children’s cards. If you don’t want to cut out all of the puzzle pieces then you might choose to use the Big Shot Embossing Mats as I did.  They help you to emboss the die onto your paper and not cut it.  What a great way to get even more use out of your dies!

I wasn’t sure which direction to go with my card until I saw a GORGEOUS card by Jo Ann Hewins and then I just knew I had to CASE her card.  She used lovely purples, green and white for her card but I decided to go for a more rustic and masculine look.

Here’s the card…

I couldn’t post it before now as I wanted to hold off until I had given it to him.  He has now seen it and he loves it.  I feel really blessed that he appreciates and supports me with my crafting.  And I want to thank you all for your support of my little business.  I love you all for choosing me as your demonstrator, for taking the time to read and comment on my blog and facebook page.  It is really appreciated from the bottom of my heart!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
