Band Together

Hi everyone, today is a super exciting day as OnStage is happening in locations around the country and indeed the world.  OnStage is a fantastic Demonstrator only event run by Stampin’ Up!  At these events, we are introduced to new products, catalogues (the release of the Occasions and Sale-A-Brations catalogues are just around the corner) and lots and lots of samples and inspiration.   It is a great opportunity to catch up with, and learn from, fellow demonstrators.  Sadly, despite having a ticket to attend Perth Onstage, I am unable to attend so I am anxiously waiting to hear all about it from those who are there.

I am sharing a card using the Band Together stamp set but this time I am also using the gorgeous coordinating die set Detailed Bands (also available as a bundle).  I hadn’t used the die set a lot but it is a really great set so I think I am going to get a lot more use out of it.

Isn’t that black die cut piece beautiful?  I love how pretty it is and how you can use it to highlight your sentiment but it is also a really strong element. I also love how you can die cut the flower and leaves so you can use that large floral image in more than one way.  I love sets which can be used in multiple ways.

Hi everyone, today’s card is a stepped-up version of a card I shared recently.  It features the Band Together stamp set and a die from the Merry Christmas dies set.  These dies make it easy to create sentiments which pop!   As with the previously shared card, all you need to do is repeatedly stamp the main floral image from Band Together and colour with your preferred colouring medium. Once again, I’m using my Stampin’ Blends (Light and Dark Purple Posy, Light Highland Heather, Light and Dark Granny Apple).  I finished the card with a coat of Wink of Stella on the petals and some Rhinestones around the sentiment.  I also stamped and embossed part of the sentiment and then popped it up for greater interest.

Hi everyone, if you’re also following me on my Facebook or Instagram pages you would have seen that I’ve been spending some time colouring the really pretty floral image from the new Band Together stamp set.  It’s a gorgeous image and the way you can use it is quite versatile (especially when paired with the coordinating Detailed Bands Dies (also available as a bundle for a 10% discount).

For today’s card, I’ve repeatedly stamped the floral image from Band Together and then coloured it very simply with my Stampin’ Blends – Flirty Flamingo for the petals, Granny Apple Green for the stem and leaves, as well as a little Pool Party to add some shading to help the images pop a little more.

Here’s the Card…

You could colour these images with any colour combination you can think off.  If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you could also use multiple colours to the petals.  That could look so good!
