Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop 8: Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone, happy Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us. The theme for today’s Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge!

Here’s the Challenge…

As soon as I saw the sketch, my brain was buzzing with ideas. Should I go with patterned paper? And if so, what gorgeous one? Or a Memories & More Card Pack? There are some gorgeous designs in those packs. Or should I stamp a background? That’s what finally won. I used the To A Wild Rose stamp set for the majority of the stamping, except for the sentiment which was from the Band Together stamp set.

This sketch is a fantastic design and could be used in so many different ways. I hope you’ll give it a try.

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop 7: Colour Challenge

Hi everyone, happy Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us. The theme for today’s Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge! The Challenge was to use the three of the new 2019-202 In Colours – Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, and Rococo Rose.

To be quite honest, I found this challenge to be quite difficult. One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is that everything works together so perfectly but I still struggled with this colour combination.

I’ve used the super cute Animal Outing stamp set and coordinating Animal Friends die set (available as a bundle) for my card. I used the stamps to create my own patterned paper as I thought that would be fun. It was so simple to do too.

Blog Hop Bloom By Bloom Challenge Petal Palette Stampers Anonymous

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop 3: Colour Challenge 1

Hi everyone, Happy Valentine’s Day but more importantly – Happy Blog Hop day! Yay! I love participating in these challenges as they really help me to think outside the square. Our blog hop is a colour challenge inspired by the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack. The challenge was to use three or more colours (Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist) with Basic Black, Whisper White and/or Very Vanilla.

I chose Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist and to be honest I nearly forgot the third colour. Fortunately, when I asked my friends for some advice regarding my card my sweet friend, Melissa, reminded me that I needed another colour. That’s where the dot stamp from the Bloom By Bloom stamp set came in handy as I used it to add Daffodil Delight to my centre panel.

This was such a FUN challenge! It is great to work with colours and colour combinations you aren’t usually drawn to. I’ve been so inspired that I actually have another few cards on the go using this same palette.

The only disappointing thing to share is that the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack is currently unavailable. It has been immensely popular! It’s such a pretty set of ribbon. Don’t worry though, there are still plenty of lovely options to choose as your free item during Sale-A-Bration.

Blog Hop Challenge Incredible Like You Stampers Anonymous

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop 2: This or That (Incredible Like You)

Hi everyone, it’s Blog Hop day! Yay! I loved participating in the last Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop so couldn’t wait to join in on another one. The theme of this Blog Hop was to make a card using one of two stamp sets we received at OnStage back in November. The stamps sets are Incredible Like You or Amazing Life. These gorgeous stamp sets will be available in the Occasions 2019 catalogue coming very soon. While both stamp sets are beautiful I couldn’t wait to play with the Incredible Like You set so that is the one I chose for the Blog Hop.

Here’s my Card…

TIP: As the stamps in this set are photopolymer, you can bend them a little before adhering them to your acrylic block. This meant that I could curve the leaves a little to create a little more interest to my design.

Also, can you see the black lines? They were stamped using the lines stamp from this set. Remember you don’t always have to use the stamp as it was originally designed. I think I am going to be using this stamp a lot in this way. I love how it looks.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop – Sketch Challenge 1
