Sadly, this is the very last Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop ever! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of this team and participating in the challenges each month. I’d like to thank Louise Sims for all of her efforts in running this challenge for the last 8 years. She’s done a wonderful job and we all appreciate her hard work.

The theme for our December 2022 Blog Hop is Sale-A-Bration.

For this card, I really want to use the very pretty paper from the Dandy Designs 12×12 Designer Series Paper pack. This gorgeous paper is one of the items you can choose for free with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration (which begins next year). I initially thought I might use stripes but then realised I had yet to use the hexagon dies in the Beautiful Shapes die set. I die-cut heaps of hexagons from this paper and then adhered them onto a panel of Basic White cardstock. Once this was finished, I used the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles dies pack to die-cut this panel. I then adhered it to another panel of Basic White cardstock. This was then adhered to a Balmy Blue cardstock base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

As this design is the main focus of the card I decided not to add too much more to the design. I stamped the sentiment, from the new Beautifully Happy stamp set, in Granny Apple Green ink before die-cutting it using another die from the Beautiful Shapes die set. I popped this up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals but before adhering it to the card I added a couple of lengths of the new Balmy Blue & White 1/2″ Variegated Ribbon. The final touch was to add a few Iridescent Pearls (which continue to remain my favourite).
