I have three similar cards to share today. They all follow the same design style I’ve been favouring lately but I was experimenting with different colour combinations. I hope you’ll enjoy these cards as well.

The above card features a length of Braided Linen Trim (147808) which will be available from 5 September 2018. It’s lovely!

For the next card, I popped up the centre panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give a little extra dimension and interest.

And for the final card I really just wanted to see how the Poppy Parade and Call Me Clover Stampin’ Blends looked together. They look fabulous! Would be great for Christmas too.

Blended Seasons Stampin' Blends

Blended Seasons Trio

Hi, I have a trio of “similar but different” cards to share with you using the limited edition Blended Seasons stamp set. Anyone who has followed my site for any length of time knows that I love making these sorts of cards. I love both the design I am sharing (and yes, I do still have more to share with you) and playing around with different colour combinations. It’s one of my favourite things to do. Really maximises the use you can get out of one single stamp (let alone using the other stamps in the set). Plus, this design is perfect for those times when the inspiration seems hard to come by.

Here’s the first card…

I love the softness of the Pool Party against the brightness of the Granny Apple Green. It really pops. Oh, and I’ll let you in on a little secret. I had stamped the greeting in black memento on the base card but decided that it needed a little extra pop of colour. I embossed the sentiment and then popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I think it really gave the card an extra lift.

The next card is a simple one layer card and I think it is very pretty. I could have added another banner of colour and stamped the sentiment on it but I really like it as it is.

Today’s final card simply shows a different orientation and colouring combination. Isn’t it pretty?

Blended Seasons Itty Bitty Greetings

Hi, today I am sharing a couple more cards using the limited edition Blended Seasons stamp set. I love how you can use the same stamps over and over, and in similar ways, and yet still create something quite different. Of course, you know I am using the floral image again – cannot get enough of it.

For both cards, I cut a small panel of cardstock upon which I stamped the floral image and then coloured the design with Stampin’ Blends. From here you can make the card as simple or as complex as you like.

My first card has lots of layers and textures (as well as a sneak peek at the Merry Christmas Thinlits which will be available from 5 September 2018).

For the second card, I tried to keep things a little more simple. You’ll notice I haven’t even used a greeting. You could always add one but I liked seeing the panel shine on its own.

Isn’t it great how the same panel can look quite different depending on how you assemble it on the card? Of course, throw in different colour combinations, some further embellishing and the design options are unlimited. So awesome!

Blended Seasons Watercolor Pencils

More from the Blended Seasons bundle

Hi, are you all loving the new limited edition Blended Seasons stamp set? And how gorgeous are those coordinating dies? The labels are wonderful with the stitched edges. I have created a lot of cards using this bundle – and I have only just started to scratch the surface. I’m so sad there are only a few days left to get it! That’s right, it leaves us forever at the end of August. So sad! Today’s card uses this set as well as the new Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2. At this stage, I cannot confirm whether or not the Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 will be available in the future. Stampin’ Up! is keeping that pretty quiet for now. I sure hope they are!

Today’s card is actually a CASE of one of the samples provided by Stampin’ Up! I loved it so much I *had* to recreate it. (CASE means Copy And Share Everything. If you see a card you like, feel free to copy it but do give credit where credit is due especially if posting online).

I decided not to use watercolour paper for this card, instead choosing the gorgeous shimmery white cardstock. I inked up the floral image with Gray Granite ink and then stamped it off once on some scrap paper before stamping again on my cardstock panel. I wanted a really soft outline. I used the Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 (and a couple of colours from the original Watercolour Pencils set) to colour in the image and then blended with an aqua painter (you could also use Blender Pens). Such a soft and pretty look.

To make the card base I took a sheet of Balmy Blue cardstock (one of the new colours in the range) and cut it to size. I positioned the die where I wanted it and ran it through the Big Shot. I can use the piece which was cut out for a future project. I stamped the leaves with the coordinating Balmy Blue ink. I love that tone on tone look. While my Big Shot was out I also cut out some leaves from Granny Apply Green cardstock (another of the new colours). The sentiment was stamped on some Whisper White cardstock and the Banner Triple Punch was the perfect tool to add a little more interest. Once all these pieces were cut and stamped, all that was left was to assemble the card. Let’s take a look.

Blended Seasons Stampin' Blends

Wishing You All The Best (Blended Seasons)

Hi, what do you all think about the new limited edition Blended Seasons stamp set? Isn’t it fabulous! Don’t forget it is only available during August. I cannot put the floral image from this stamp set down. I’m loving all the different looks you can achieve with it. For the cards I am sharing today, I have once again CASEd some of my earlier cards. CASE means Copy And Share Everything. If you see a card you like, feel free to copy it but do give credit where credit is due especially if posting online.

For my first card, I stamped the sentiment where I wanted it and then randomly stamped the floral image around it. I used the gorgeous new Stampin’ Blends to colour the image. I decided that I wanted to soften the background so I used the new Balmy Blue Watercolour Pencils to add a wash of blue around the flowers. I layered the panel on a Highland Heather cardstock base.

You all know I can never stop with one of these designs! I just have to play around with different colour combinations and the like. So I have made a few more but I’ve switched up different elements. The next card was designed in the same way but I used the new Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends to colour the flowers. I *love* this colour. It’s gorgeous. I matted the completed panel onto Basic Black cardstock before finishing the card with some Rhinestones and Wink of Stella.

Birthdays Blended Seasons Itty Bitty Greetings Stampin' Blends

Hi, the floral image in the new limited edition Blended Seasons stamp set is gorgeous and I’ve been crafting up a storm with it. As my mojo is still missing in action, I’m CASEing (Copy And Share Everything) some of my older card designs. I really encourage you to do this too whenever you are feeling a little less than inspired. So many of our card designs can be easily replicated using other stamps. I’ve also paired up the Blended Seasons stamp set with the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. Gosh, this is a cute set, and so versatile as it covers so many different occasions. If you are just starting out, this could be a great set to have in your collection.

Here’s the card…

Whilst I love the softness of the Petal Pink and the Soft Sea Foam, I was curious as to how this same card design would look with much more vibrant colours such as Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green. I wasn’t disappointed – it looks beautiful! I also finished both cards with a coating of Wink of Stella just to give the petals a little more sparkle.

So pretty!! If you wanted to step up this card a little more, you could add some rhinestones or enamel dots. You could even add some metallic thread under the popped up floral image.
