Happy Birthday (So Much Love / Itty Bitty Greetings / Pattern Play)

Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Hi everyone, as World Cardmaking Day continues I have another card to share with you.  This is another of my favourite style of cards to make, especially when you have a pretty flower stamp as you do in the So Much Love stamp set.

I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the flower on this panel.  I then used my Paper Trimmer to cut away part of the panel and fussy cut around the leaves.  If you are worried about this step, you could always fussy cut out the entire stamped image and just adhere it to the card at the end.  The flower was coloured with Stampin’ Blends.  I used the dot stamp which comes in the So Much Love set to add a little texture around the flower.  The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  This is another set which I consider to be a staple in my stash.  It has a variety of sentiments and can be used with any other stamp set (especially those which do not come with sentiments).

The striped border was created with the Pattern Play stamp set and I used the Stamparatus to line up the lines.  You could always use Patterned Paper if you prefer.

Here’s the card

It really is a pretty card!  You could change up the colour and sentiment and use it for almost any occasion.

Thanks so much for spending part of World Cardmaking Day with me! I hope you’ve been inspired by some of my cards.  Enjoy the rest of the day!

Don’t forget all orders over $50 during the month of October 2020 go into a draw to win The Gang’s All Meer stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie
