Hi everyone, having recently shared a soft and pretty card with the So Much Love stamp set, I thought I would share a much brighter card using this same set. The card style is one I *love*. You can use almost any stamp set and it always looks so good.
Simply stamp the smaller floral image from the So Much Love stamp set in Smoky Slate all over a Whisper White cardstock panel. Attach this to a Basic Black cardstock base (after I ran the card base through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder). The larger floral image from So Much Love was stamped on Whisper White cardstock and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. As there is no coordinating die set, I fussy cut the image out. A touch of Wink of Stella really makes this flower sparkle!
To give the card a little extra bling, I added Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, some Rhinestones and some of the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins. I hadn’t used the sequins until today and I really love that they don’t have that little hole in the middle!
The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I die cut it out with the Tasteful Labels dies and then matted it on a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles die set.
Here’s the card…
You could easily replicate this card. The most time consuming part is fussy cutting the flower but it really doesn’t take too long. The flower could be coloured in many different colour combinations, and with your choice of colouring medium. In fact, I think I might make a few more cards, in different combinations, for my stash.
