Hi, I recently shared a cute card made with the super cute Penguin Place stamp set and coordinating Penguin Builder Punch (available as part of a bundle). It was such a cute card that I really wanted to make another one but this time I thought I’d use the subtle pink of Blushing Bride instead of the bright Polished Pink.
I started by stamping out all the elements for two penguins as well as a heart and a bow tie. I used the Penguin Builder Punch to punch out the different elements of the penguins. I added the bow tie to one of the penguins. On the other, I drew some eyelashes with my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker as I wanted the penguins to look different from each other. I used the “eyes” stamp to create a necklace which I then cut out and adhered to the penguin with the eyelashes.
Next up, I created a card base from Blushing Bride cardstock. I layered a panel of Basic White cardstock and a smaller panel of Blushing Bride paper from the Subtles 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper pack and adhered this to the card base.
I die cut a heart from Basic White cardstock using the Floral Heart die set and adhered it to the card base and then popped up the penguins in front of it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark on Basic Grey cardstock and then white heat embossed. I used the Messages die set to cut out the sentiments and then snipped off the edges. I also used the same die to die cut the tiny heart. It’s not the perfect size but it is definitely better than my fussy cutting. The sentiment was adhered directly to the card base and then I used a few pearls to finish off the outside of the card.
On the inside of the card, I added a panel of Basic White cardstock, with a strip of the same Blushing Bride paper I had used on the front of the card. I also added the second part of the sentiment.

The Penguin Place stamp set really is so very versatile. It has sentiments for many occasions. It can be used for Christmas and Winter themed cards but it is also perfect for Love, Friendship, Anniversary or Valentine’s Day too. My favourite sentiments from the Penguin Place stamp set are “I like you a lottle” and ‘It’s like a little except a lot”. They are so darling!
