Hi everyone, today’s card features another piece of patterned paper as the focus. It’s a stunning print from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is GORGEOUS! I really wanted to keep the design of the card simple because the patterned paper deserves to feature prominently.
You might notice that I’ve used some pretty Rococo Rose Bakers Twine but you might also be aware that Stampin’ Up! doesn’t actually stock Rococo Rose Bakers Twine. It is SO EASY to make your own. Simply cut a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine to the desired length. Either take a glass with a little water and a drop of Rococo Rose Ink Refill and swish the Baker’s Twine around in it. Hang it up to dry. Or, press the Rococo Rose ink pad on a large acrylic block and add some water with your Aqua Painter. Swish the length of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around in it. Hang it up to dry. Be careful where you hang it though as it will stain some surfaces if it drips…ask me how I know! Oops! I use this technique ALL the time now. It’s so easy and fun too!
The sentiment for this card comes from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. It’s a lovely stamp set and I love the fonts used for the sentiments too. Very pretty!
Here’s the Card…
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
Listed below are the supplies used to create the above project. If the stamp set comes as a bundle, I will link to this too. I will also link to refills as we often need these.
