Thank You (Fond of Autumn)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, today I thought I would share another card featuring the Fond of Autumn Bundle. I love the versatility of this set.

I started by stamping the images I wanted from the Fond of Autumn stamp set and then coloured them with Stampin’ Blends. The images were cut out with the coordinating Autumn Bouquet dies.

Next, I created a card base from Old Olive cardstock. I cut another panel from Old Olive cardstock and trimmed it to be slightly smaller than the card front. I used the detail die from the Autumn Bouquet dies and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. (TIP: if your die doesn’t cut properly, add another sheet (or two) of cardstock on top of the die to act as a shim). This piece was then adhered directly to the card front.

Using one of the frame dies from the Fabulous Frames die set, I die cut one piece from Basic White cardstock. I’ve only used the centre piece so the outside can be used on a future project. I added some Foam Adhesive Sheets to the back of a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and then die-cut the same frame die. Even though the Foam Adhesive is thick, it will go through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I usually just run it through a couple of times. Also, the adhesive may be squashed but it will bounce back so don’t worry about it!

I stamped the sentiment, from the Fond of Autumn stamp set, in Crumb Cake ink on some Basic White cardstock and then die cut it using a Stitched Rectangle die.

Now, that I had all the pieces, all that was left was to assemble the card. I finished it off with a bow of Linen Thread and some Wink of Stella.

Here’s the card…

I enjoyed making this card and I love the colours. You could choose more autumnal colours which would look really good! I’d love to see it if you make a card like this!
