Hi everyone, today I am sharing another pretty and simple card using the fabulous Free as a Bird stamp set. One of the things I love about this stamp set is that you can actually colour it in a simple way and it still looks lovely. If you are fabulous at blending colours you can go to town with colour combinations. If you are a little less confident in that arena it doesn’t matter! Simply add some Smoky Slate to the birds, and some Pool Party around the edges and the birds will POP!
I also created the linen look with this panel as I love that textured look at the moment. All you need to do is place the coloured and die cut panel into the Subtle Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. Rotate the panel 90° and place it back in the folder. Run it through the die-cutting machine again. Easy!
The completed panel was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added to a card base I had matted with the fabulous True Love Designer Series Paper! Gosh, I love that pack of paper! It’s good for every occasion!
I love making cards like this. They look like they take ages but they are surprisingly quick and easy to put together! I love the effect too and my recipients always seem to enjoy them too.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
Listed below are the supplies used to create the above project. If the stamp set, die set, etc, also comes a part of a bundle or suite, I link to all so that you have choices. I also link refills and basic supplies like adhesives which correspond with items used to make my projects. These links take you to my online store.
