Birthday Card Trio (So Much Love)

by Kylie

Hi everyone, when you find a card design you love it is a really good idea to use it again and again when creating…especially on those days when the mojo goes missing.  All you need to do is mix and match the products and colours used.  The following trio of birthday cards follows a style which I love and have made many times over the years.  This time I’m using the So Much Love stamp set.  I’ve teamed the florals from this set with sentiments from Itty Bitty Birthdays and Peaceful Moments.

All you need to do is grab a sheet of cardstock and make a card base.  Take a flower stamp from the So Much Love stamp set and stamp it repeatedly over the base.  I usually use the same colour ink as the cardstock but you could always switch this up based on your overall card design.  Stamp and colour the larger flower.  I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the image but, as always, please use your preferred colouring medium. There isn’t a coordinating die to cut out the flower but it isn’t too fiddly to fussy cut. You could just add the image directly onto the card base or pop it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   For the cards below, I chose to layer the image on a Square Vellum Doily to add a little more interest.  Stamp and die cut your sentiment and add to the card.  Finish off with either some Rhinestones or Gilded Gems.

As you can see, they are rather pretty cards. You could easily create a few cards like this in one crafting session.  I think the cards would also look super pretty pinks and reds.  What do you think?
