Hi, it’s here – the Retiring List has just been released by Stampin’ Up!   There are some really terrific products which are retiring.  The best and the most convenient way to keep up to date with what is on the list is to visit the Last-Chance Products page on my Online Store as it will be updated regularly.

Annual Catalogue Retired List

Promotion Information: 16 April – 03 June 2019

 

  • All retiring items are only available while supplies last and will be discontinued after 3 June.
  • Retiring items are eligible for Stampin’ Rewards with qualifying orders.
  • Retiring host sets may be purchased using Stampin’ Rewards from a qualifying party only.
  • Depending on inventory levels, discounts on select products may be introduced on or after May 9.
    • These discounts will not be preannounced.
    • Discounts may vary by market depending on inventory levels.
    • If you buy a product at retail price and then it is later discounted, Stampin’ Up! will not refund the difference.
    • If there is a product you want, we recommend buying it right away and not waiting to see if it’s discounted later or you risk it being sold out.

Lots of News

Hi, sorry it has been a while since I shared ideas and news about the outgoing catalogue and the incoming catalogue.  Life has been very busy with Jake and I am also about to move within the next month so there has been little, okay, no time for crafting at all.  I really wanted to touch base and let you know all that is happening in my world, and the Stampin’ Up! world.

Jake...

Jake is now a 17-week old goofball.  He’s super smart, super cute and very energetic.  I love him to pieces.  We finished puppy class recently and we are now on a hunt for our next training school.  He had his final vaccinations on Tuesday night so he is 10 days away from taking on the world.

Stampin’ Blends...

Great news!  All of the current colours of Stampin’ Blends are back in stock and available for purchase. Thank you for your patience while Stampin’ Up! worked to restock this popular product. (And if you cannot wait to get your hands on the new Stampin’ Blends colours, they are on track to be available mid-June. Yay!)

 

2018/2019 Annual Catalogue...

The 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue is going to go live on June 1st, 2018 and you are going to LOVE all of the new things!  If you have placed an order with me over the last six months you will be receiving a hard copy catalogue in the mail very soon.  I am having it sent directly from Stampin’ Up! so it won’t have my name on it.  Surprise!  It’s one of my ways of saying “thank you” for supporting my small business.

 

2017/2018 Annual Catalogue & 2018 Occasions Catalogue…

Whilst we are all eagerly awaiting the moment we can order from the new catalogue, let’s not forget that time is ticking away on the products in the current Annual Catalogue and the Occasions Catalogue.  Check out the retiring list for those items which will no longer be available from May 31st, 2018.   Keep in mind that while some stamp sets and coordinating dies may be continuing in the new catalogue they will NOT be available as Bundles (which means no more 10% discount).  Another thing to keep in mind is that there are a few price rises heading our way with the new catalogue so to avoid this, now is the time to buy.  And, finally, don’t forget that if you need ink refills of the retiring colours, you need to stock up now.

 

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)…

As some of you may be aware, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into being in the European Union on 25 May 2018.  Whilst I am actually prohibited from selling Stampin’ Up products in Europe, I thought it was really important to cover this topic with you all.   If you place an order with me through my online store your information is kept for the reason to process and ship your order.  I will then send you a thank you card for your order, or at a time such as the new catalogue release, I will arrange for a catalogue to be sent to you.  Your details are NOT shared with anyone and remain on the Stampin’ Up! site.

If you have signed up for my email newsletter you will have noticed that it says that your email is only used for the purpose of sending you newsletters and that you can unsubscribe at any time.  This remains true.  Your email is collected through the company I use to host my newsletters (Vision6) and it is not shared with any other parties.  In general, I only send one newsletter a month unless it is a particularly newsworthy time.  Don’t forget you can unsubscribe at any time.

When commenting on my blog, I use Akismet to reduce (!) spam comments.  There is now a privacy notice which will appear under each blog post which states: This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.

It’s Here! The new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue is now available!

Hooray! The 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue has gone live! It is jam-packed with amazing products and creative ideas. I’ve been so inspired each time I have flicked through the catalogue. I know you will be too. There really is something for everyone – from the beginner to the more advanced crafter.

The online store has been updated to show all the latest and greatest, as well as a few much loved returning items. You can also download a PDF version of the catalogue here. (It can also be found on the Resources page).

If you are anything like me, there will be a few…okay, a lot, of things on your wish list. To help you keep track of what you might like, Stampin’ Up! has created a cute Shopping List. I’ve uploaded it into the Resources section of my site so you can download a copy whenever you need one.

Similar but Different (Birthday Blooms)

Hi Everyone, I hope you are ready to see a LOT of cards today. They are all ‘similar but different’. I make a lot of cards this way because I am always thinking about what the design might look like if I changed the colour, or the colouring medium, or the sentiment, or even the card orientation (portrait or landscape). I don’t always share all of my different combinations but I have decided to do so today as I want to show that even with one basic design there are countless ways we can change it up. I know I am guilty of using a stamp set once and then moving onto the next thing, but I think if we really stop and just PLAY with our stamps we can create any number of amazing card designs. I know I love when I see people returning to stamp sets again and again to share new designs and techniques.

The cards I am sharing today are all quite similar, as I have said, but I think you can see how I have only begun to scratch the surface when it comes to how you can use the stamp set Birthday Blooms. I *love* the Birthday Blooms stamp set. Colouring the main floral image brings me great joy. I find it relaxing to stamp up a bunch of images and then just play with colours and colouring mediums. I hope you find some inspiration from the following thirteen cards! WOW!

Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue – Pre-order Reveal

With the launch of the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue only a few short weeks away, there is a lot of excitement about the new things which are coming. One of the benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that we not only get to see inside the new catalogue before it is officially released, we are also able to pre-order a selection of these new items. I had to take advantage and placed my pre-order last week. Now that it has arrived I am thrilled to share some of these fabulous items with you. I’ve put together a little video so you can actually have a closer look at the items I received.

Did you have a favourite from the pre-order? I’ve already started to create with the Bright Wishes stamp set. The well is gorgeous! I’m also planning to work with the Eastern Medallions Thinlits dies to show you just some of the many designs you can come up with.
It’s going to be such a great must-have set, especially when you combine it with the Layering Circle Framelits dies. I foresee a lot of creating coming for me…and I cannot wait!

Even though I cannot show you the inside of the catalogue, I can show you the front cover. Isn’t it pretty? You’ll love what is inside – something for everything. Don’t forget it goes live on June 1, 2017.

If you’re like me, you are eagerly awaiting the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue. The new catalogue launches on June 1st so we don’t have to wait too much longer. We are all very excited though as Stampin’ Up! has released one of the product suites early. So if you want to get your hands on the colourful and exotic products from the Eastern Palace Suite before they’re officially released in the 2017-2018 annual catalogue, now is the time! And to add to the fun, this suite also features THREE of the new In Color colours – Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig.

There are a couple of lovely bundles from which to choose – the Starter Bundle (147196) and the Premier Bundle (147209). They are only available until May 31st.
