I Just Can’t Thank You Enough (Cup of Tea)

Hi everyone, today I am sharing a ‘thank you’ card featuring the Tea Boutique bundle. I love the sweet imagery and the sentiments in the Cup of Tea stamp set and couldn’t wait to use it.

To create this card, I started by stamping out the images and sentiments I needed from the Cup of Tea stamp set on Basic White cardstock. I also sponged some Garden Green ink onto some Basic White cardstock as this was going to be my tea cup base. Once all the stamping was done, I die-cut everything using dies from the Teacup die set. I also layered an Adhesive Sheet on some Garden Green cardstock and the die cut the intricate tea cup, also from the Teacup dies set. With a die from the Scalloped Contours die set, I die cut a base panel from Basic White cardstock. Looking at the card now I think it might also have been a nice touch to sponge some blue ink onto this panel. Maybe next time…

The card base was created from Garden Green cardstock and a piece of paper from the Tea Boutique 6×6 Designer Series Paper pack was layered on top. Next, the scallop-edged panel was adhered. I popped up the teacup, leaves and flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To create more depth, I then layered some more flowers onto my panel rather than popping them up. I added some white Baker’s Twine which I had dyed with Garden Green ink. I tucked this behind my teacup and secured it behind the tag element too. Then I added a bow to the top.

To finish off the card I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers and a few Fresh Freesia sequins from the Adhesive Backed Sequins & Gems pack.

This is such a pretty card and is so easy to replicate. You could easily make an assortment of different colours coordinating with the Tea Boutique patterned paper. Of course, you could also switch up the sentiments from the Cup of Tea stamp set too. The Tea Boutique suite is so versatile. I enjoyed my first play with the suite.
