Today’s card is also based on a card design featured in the current Sale-A-Bration catalogue. It is super easy to make and if you love colouring then you will love it too!
Start by taking a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamping the different sheep randomly all over with Memento ink. Fill in any spaces with the party hats. Next up we are going to colour in the images with Watercolour Pencils. You could choose to use a Blender Pen to soften the coloured pencil look but I didn’t think it was necessary. Once you’ve finished colouring all the images, die-cut this panel with a Stitched Rectangle die.
Next, create a card base with a sheet of Thick Basic White cardstock. Attached the coloured panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To create the sentiment, pick an assortment of coloured cardstock. I chose Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie and Coastal Cabana. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark on each piece of cardstock then white heat emboss. Cut the sentiments into strips. We are going to then use part of each piece to layer our sentiment.
Cut a strip of Coastal Cabana patterned paper from the Brights 6×6 Designer Series Paper. This will be our first layer. Next, tie a large bow with Linen Thread and adhere this in place with a Glue Dot. A circle of Vellum is added next and finally, we add the sentiment strips.
The final touch to the card is to add some Wink of Stella to the sheep and party hats.
Here’s the card…
I also totally love the Counting Sheep stamp set. If you too love this stamp set then don’t delay! The Counting Sheep stamp set and the Sheep dies can only be obtained for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. Sale-A-Bration ends 30 September 2021.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
