The theme for our August 2022 Blog Hop is Clean and Simple.

What a challenging theme this was for me this month! I love this style and many of the cards I make are definitely simple but they don’t really fall into the traditional meaning of this style. I thought it would be fun to use the Simply Fabulous stamp set and a couple of ink colours to make my card. You could definitely whip up a few cards like this very quickly – change up the colour combinations, and the sentiments, and you have a card ready for so many different occasions.

I started by stamping one of the leaves, in Pear Pizzazz ink, from the Simply Fabulous stamp set four times with their stems meeting in the centre of the cardstock. Next, I inked up a different leaf stamp, also in Pear Pizzazz, but stamped it off before doing the same process on the card. Finally, I inked up the flower stamp in Pale Papaya ink and stamped it on the card four times.

The sentiment, from the Simply Fabulous stamp set, was stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink and then die cut using the All That dies.

The card base was made from Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I then layered the stamped panel on a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock and adhered this directly to the card base. The sentiment was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I did add some bling in the form of the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems.
