Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop! Each month a few Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world come together to inspire! Currently, you’re visiting the blog of Kylie at Stampers Workshop in Australia! Thanks so much for hopping with us!
The theme for our October 2022 Blog Hop is Grateful Gratitude.
As soon as I read the theme for this month I knew I wanted to use the Fond of Autumn Bundle. I initially thought I might go for an autumn colourway but as I was preparing I decided to go for a softer palette.
I started by creating a card base from Crumb Cake cardstock. I cut an extra panel from Crumb Cake cardstock and trimmed it to size before running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery die. This was then layered on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I popped this panel up on the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I stamped the main image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set on Basic White cardstock multiple times. I also stamped the sentiment. I used Early Espresso ink as I didn’t want it to be too dark. For the floral images, I coloured the pieces with Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I then die-cut these pieces using the Autumn Bouquet dies, and the sentiment was die-cut using the Stylish Shapes dies.
I took a length of Linen Thread and wrapped it around my fingers to create a loop which I adhered to the back of the sentiment circle. I then adhered this to the card piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, I layered all the other pieces onto the card and then added a wash of Wink of Stella to the flowers. The finishing touch was to add some Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.
Here’s the card…
